LIRAC BLANC « COMTESSE MADELEINE » 2015 - 90 points

« I loved both of the whites from this terrific estate, and their 2015 Lirac Comtesse Madeleine Blanc (50% Marsanne, 20% Grenache Blanc and the rest Clairette and Picpoul) is a salty, medium-bodied, nicely concentrated white that makes you salivate. Pineapple, apple blossom, brioche and plenty of minerality emerge from the glass and it will shine on the dinner table over the coming year or two (or more). » The Wine Advocate 228, Dec. 30th, 2016 CÔTES DU RHÔNE BLANC « VIN DE MME LA COMTESSE » 2014 - 90 points « Slightly more expensive and a richer, bigger wine, the 2014 Côtes du Rhône Vin de Mme la Comtesse Blanc is 100% Clairette that was fermented and aged all in barrel. It offers beautiful notes of buttered citrus, pineapple, toasted bread and brioche in a medium-bodied, fresh, yet concentrated style. It’s still a little rough around the edges, so give bottle 6-12 months, and it should drink nicely for 2-3 years or more. » The Wine Advocate 228, Dec. 30th, 2016

BARON LOUIS LIRAC 2013 - 90 points This sports a brambly feel, with lots of dark licorice and warm fruitcake notes mixing with lightly steeped plum and blackberry fruit. Maintains good energy through the modestly toasted finish.
